Pope John Paul II declared the Charismatic Renewal a hope for the world and the Church. He asked the faithful to renew their appreciation for the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit, and for the variety of charisms, roles and ministries He inspires for our good and the good of the Church. Pope John Paul II and the Pope Benedict XVI have blessed and embraced this movement of the Holy Spirit calling it a “New Pentecost.”

St. Paul wrote about these gifts and graces in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service by the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the same benefit. To one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another miracles; to another prophecy; to another, discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.”

Prophecy: An inspired word from God’s heart to His people gathered here; to encourage, comfort and build us up and sometimes to guide us. Tongues, (that is the public gift of speaking in tongues) plus interpretation, is similar to prophecy.
You will hear praying and singing in a tongue. That is our personal prayer language given to us by our heavenly Father to praise Him with and to speak to Him, “For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God...” I Cor. 14:2. What a gift...what a privilege! What a God!
Word of Knowledge: God who has all knowledge (omniscience) drops a bit of His knowledge into the mind He has created to bring healing, guidance, revelation, or encouragement to the one being ministered to.

Word of Wisdom: How to apply that knowledge. Discerning Spirits: The ability to know what spirit is the source of the message or act. Whether it is the Holy Spirit, one’s own spirit or an evil spirit.

These plus healings, miracles, the gift of faith will be present as the prayer teams pray with those of you who come for prayer.

God loves us! We are his children! He has placed these gifts into the Body of Christ for us! So let us open our hearts to receive all He has for us.
We begin with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m.; Praise & Worship followed by Mass from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.. During the praise & worship and Mass, we sing in our own language and in tongues, praising our Lord. We usually have words from the Lord in prophecy, word of knowledge and Wisdom. Following Mass there are prayer teams available to pray with those who desire personal prayer. We also have fellowship and refreshment after Mass.
Please come! You will be bless and we will be blessed!

Welcome to the new Catholic Charismatic Renewal web site! We are very happy and excited that God has opened another door for us to share the Good News (see Matt. 28: 19,20) of salvation through Jesus our Savior and baptism in the Holy Spirit - "The Promise of the Father" to empower us to live a life of holiness and service. How great is our God!

I first experienced my personal Pentecost as a teenager, but after a few years "...the cares of this world, the deceitfulness and the desires for other things" entered in and choked God's Word and I became unfruitful.

Praise be to God, Who knew the plan he had for me (and you), a plan for good and a future full of hope (see Jeremiah 29:11). He sent His Word and healed me (see Psalm 107:20) and He delivered me from the power of darkness and transferred me to the kingdom of His beloved Son.

As my precious, saintly, mother often said before she went home to be with Jesus, "Honey, when I was just a little girl of 14, a nobody in the eyes of the world, Jesus came and saved me and filled me with the sweet Holy Spirit and I have never gotten over His goodness to me."

Twenty-eight years ago I experienced a new wonder of Jesus' love and the empowering release of the Holy Spirit in my life and experienced the wonder my mother knew (now more fully), as I experienced a personal Pentecost. And not only that, but he has called me (and you) to be laborers in His abundant harvest (see Matt. 9:3, Luke) and to pray for more laborers to join us.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to His followers (see John 14:16, 17; John 16:12, 13).

Just before Jesus ascended He said, "I am sending the promise of my Father (the gift of the Holy Spirit) upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high" (see Luke 24:49).

Have you received your garment from on high? Jesus wants you to. He wants to give each of us a new Pentecost, a personal Upper Room experience as He did for His mother Mary and the 120 who were gathered there. "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim" (Acts 1:2-4 - Other gifts and graces are found. (Corinthians 12-14) And there is always more!
